About: Lucky Jet
Lucky Jet is an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist, licensed and registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria. With over eight years of extensive practice, he is a respected member of the Occupational Therapy Association of Nigeria and a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) expert accredited by the American Heart Association.
Lucky currently heads the Occupational Therapy Child and Adolescent Unit at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Yaba, Lagos. He is also a co-founder of Luvic Integration Services, an organization focused on the rehabilitation and support of individuals living with autism. His passion for mental health and therapeutic interventions is further exemplified through his role as a distinguished Board Member of Dora-Care Behavioral Foundation, where he contributes his expertise to strategically planning and developing programs to enhance mental health and rehabilitation services.
Lucky's professional journey spans a wide array of clinical expertise, including mental health, psychoactive substance abuse, sensory integration, and therapeutic interventions such as play-based therapy, tabletop activities, group sessions, and behavioral modification strategies. He has worked extensively with individuals living with conditions such as ADHD, autism, depression, schizophrenia, and dementia. His therapeutic focus includes fostering independence in various life domains—social skills, vocational skills, functional communication, daily living skills, environmental adaptations, pre-academic skills, and fine motor skills.
As a passionate advocate for continuous professional growth, Lucky is deeply committed to expanding his knowledge through active participation in educational presentations, classes, and ward rounds. He works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and individualized care, ensuring the best outcomes for those he serves.
